Daladala: 5 shillings? 200 shillings!!
Nathan Mpangala: 'Daladala is what we call them, the city buses in Dar es Salaam. Daladala means five Tanzanian shillings. A bus ride used to cost five shillings. But not any more. Now we pay 200 Tanzanian shillings. Not only the price has changed, but also the behaviour and culture of the people riding the buses. and not always for the good. I want to show that in my cartoons.'
